Constructing happiness requires building a foundation with intention.
Like any building project, there will be obstacles to overcome, iterations to make, and achievements to be celebrated along the way.
ReSillyance is your blueprint.
Meet Michelle
I specialize in working with care-giving women over 35 who are ready to enact change in their lives. Is this you? Do you:
Feel like you are at a precipice or crossroad and feel unsure of your next step?
Feel burnt out or are you on the verge of burnout?
Want to feel happier?
Want to be healthier?
You who are worthy of all that, and more!
I am here to help you kick stress in the butt, gain clarity on your goals, make a playbook, take that next step, and, most importantly, celebrate your wins and achievements with you.
I use the power of humor and play in my programs and workshops. This is an evidence-based approach to build self-esteem, confidence and resilience while fostering connection to a deeper sense of self through hand, heart, mind, and soul. This empowers you to create a playbook with blueprints that will help you live a happier and healthier life.
I am very mindful and am skilled in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) based on the teachings of Jon Kabat-Zinn, George Mumford and Sharon Salzberg. Their teachings focus on evidence-based, non-sectarian research and practice.
My own personal and professional development has improved with over 10 years of experience in self-care and continuing education. I am a practitioner of meditation and have led stress reduction initiatives in my workplace.
I continue to nurture my own development and walk the talk to show others that positive transformation is possible.

I envision…
A world where every person is intentional about:
Recharging the wonder of joy through hand, heart, mind, and soul.
Emerging with a more confident and resilient sense of self.
Persevering through adversity with child-like inquiry
Looking inward, and around, to realize the impacts of actions.
Acting with integrity, curiosity, and kindness toward one another, and holding a ->
Young-at-heart perspective to maintain an innovative spirit.
Resilience is serious business. Learning to be silly vital to resilience!
“RESILIENCE reflects the ability to…move from being a victim to being a “survivor” and even to becoming a “thriver”

“The drive to play is as fundamental as our drives for food and sleep.”
Dr. Stuart Brown
National Institute for Play
In children, play is highly imaginative and free flowing. For adults, play is different. It’s more intentional. It’s more serious. There is more control, focus, and inquiry involved.
Imagination is there, but in a different way than for a child. As we age, there is seemingly less time and less perceived value of play which results in a deficit of imagination. We can become stagnated especially when operating in stress as the norm. Play can disrupt stress and stagnation by opening space for more use of imagination. And that can lead to innovation.
5 Minutes of play, a day, can keep the blues away!
